Demand & Supply Planning (DSP) associates with capturing, processing, and analysing demand from our customers in different dimensions providing a holistic business view incl. risk and opportunity scenarios across functions for aligned decision-making and proactive actions on end-to-end supply capability and inventory management. Target is to achieve financial performance and customer expectations for any given channel or product.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Outsourced Partner Management: Serve as the primary interface for EMS, OEM, and ODM partners regarding material supply (supply & demand balancing) for NPI and Production products. This includes coordinating purchasing, engineering, and operational activities to acquire materials cost-effectively and on time, ensuring partners meet Nokia's revenue and customer service targets, and fostering collaborative relationships focused on cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Supply Chain Planning & Execution: Maintain an achievable supply plan based on MRP, ensure continuity of component supply for finished goods, and manage critical program aspects such as supply/demand balancing, PO placement/maintenance, risk buys, NPI coordination, build plan alignment, shortage escalation/mitigation, NRE/quotation analysis, and excess/obsolete analysis.
  • Operational Excellence & Collaboration: Demonstrate a commitment to team success, flexibility in adapting to new information, and continuous effort to improve operations, streamline processes, and ensure adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Skills And Experience

  • Education & Professional Experience: Possess a Business Diploma or equivalent education and practical experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years in supply chain. PMAC/APICS certification is considered an asset.
  • Technical & Supply Chain Expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of supply chain and material management (MRP), proficiency in supply chain systems (e.g., SAP), and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Power Pivots and Power BI.
  • Communication & Collaboration Skills: Exhibit strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillss in English to effectively engage with internal/external customers and suppliers, coupled with the ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and contribute as a team member.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Capable of troubleshooting complex problems, managing multiple priorities, and meeting critical deadlines in a dynamic environment, while demonstrating self-motivation, excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and flexibility for evening work as required.
