Job Description

The Medical Innovation Development and Assessment Support (MIDAS) is a collaboration between the HITAP Foundation and the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at the National University of Singapore. We are currently one of a few in the world, an agency specializing in early Health Technology Assessment (early HTA). From biotechnology engineers to health economists, we are a team of dedicated experts from different fields. Our goal is to support medical innovators on their quests to bring about new technologies, which could save or improve peoples lives in Thailand and around the world, by providing guidance and advice on the best next move to push the technology forward until the implementation is realized. MIDAS serves as a bridge between the worlds of research, innovation, and policyensuring that promising medical technologies are not only innovative but also practical, accessible, and valuable to the health system.

Duties And Responsibilities

The list of detailed duties and responsibilities below is not meant to be exhaustive, but merely an indication of the main areas of activity for the post.

  • Manage projects and deliverables of MIDAS.
    • Maintain a database of projects, people, activities and outputs.
    • Track activities, progress and deliverables for projects.
    • Ensure completion of outputs promptly, including fostering cross-team collaboration to help team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables.
    • Facilitate contract, payment, and reimbursement matters between HITAP and NUS.
    • Monitor and report on activities, costs, performance, etc, as required.
    • Manage administrative functions for MIDAS.
  • Liaise with other units and external organisations on administrative matters related to and on behalf of MIDAS.
    • Act as liaison with related teams, projects, and activities.
    • Coordinate communications with external partners from public and private organisations.
    • Manage communication channels and social media channels.
  • Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
    • Arrange logistics for meetings and project activities, including travel and expense reports
  • Support organization and team development.
  • Work effectively as a member and representative of the team.
  • Maintain flexibility to work on a range of assignments, take initiative and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Travel to carry out activities related to projects (local and international)
  • Uphold the values and principles of the unit and organization.
  • Support completion of other tasks and duties as required.
Requirement

  • Bachelors degree in any field
  • 1-2 years of experience in planning, project management, coordination, administration, or related field of work
  • High proficiency in written and spoken Thai and English
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in organisational, analytical and time management skills such as prioritising tasks, organising events and tracking details
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of basic email, internet browser, and Microsoft Office package, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
