Job Summary
The Project Coordinator - Infrastructure Network is responsible for coordinating network infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. This role supports project managers, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The coordinator manages project schedules, documentation, resource tracking, and communication while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate network infrastructure projects, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, data center, and cloud connectivity initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
- Monitor project progress and identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, network engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Schedule project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and track action items.
- Manage project documentation, including project charters, change requests, and implementation plans.
- Track project budgets, procurement activities, and asset delivery.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and change management processes.
- Support testing, implementation, and project closure activities.
- Prepare regular progress reports and dashboards for management.
- Assist in resource planning and coordination across multiple projects.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in project coordination or project management within IT infrastructure or networking.
- Understanding of network technologies such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless networking.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
- Experience using project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with ServiceNow or other IT service management tools.
- Exposure to Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or Fortinet networking environments.
