Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and supervise mechanical tool installation activities to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedule and client requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, construction documents, technical specifications and vendor information to ensure constructability and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, work procedures and other engineering documentation for client approval.
- Coordinate material procurement, fabrication schedules, equipment deliveries and site logistics to ensure construction activities are adequately supported.
- Monitor site progress, identify technical issues or construction constraints, and work closely with the Construction Manager to develop practical engineering solutions.
- Coordinate installation interfaces with other disciplines including process piping, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation, process exhaust and equipment vendors to minimize work conflicts.
- Ensure installation activities comply with approved engineering documents, project specifications, cleanroom requirements and applicable industry standards.
- Provide technical support to Site Supervisors and installation teams, ensuring proper interpretation of drawings and installation requirements.
- Assist in project planning, progress monitoring, productivity analysis and preparation of weekly and monthly project reports.
- Support inspection activities, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and system start-up by ensuring all engineering deliverables and technical documentation are complete.
- Prepare as-built drawings, operation and maintenance documentation, and turnover dossiers for project handover.
Minimum Qualification:
Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Recommended Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years experience in mechanical construction, preferably in semiconductor, pharmaceutical or other high-technology industrial projects.
