Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing logistics automation projects, including automated conveyor systems, AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems), robotics, and warehouse control system. Ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong organizational, planning and tracking skills, bilingual communication in English and Chinese, and the ability to coordinate between multinational clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Job Description

1. Project Execution & Coordination

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing logistics automation projects.

• Interpret design documents, technical specifications, and layouts for implementation.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, controls, and software).

• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timeline, cost, and quality standards.

2. Technical Engineering Support

• Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, and equipment specifications.

• Support system integration, installation, and commissioning activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all engineering activities.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare project documentation including method statements, risk assessments, and test reports.

• Maintain accurate as-built drawings and technical records.

• Report project status, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.

4. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.

• Communicate with clients regarding technical clarifications and progress updates.

• Support handover and training for end-users after project completion.

• Act as a communication bridge between English-speaking clients, suppliers, stakeholders and internal teams.

• Translate and interpret project documents, emails, and meetings • Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and overseas partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in logistics automation, warehouse automation, material handling systems or constructions.

• Knowledge of automation technologies (conveyors, robotics, PLCs, WMS/WCS). • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software would be the advantage. • Understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings.

• Familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA, or control systems would be the advantage. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong project coordination and time management skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Detail-oriented with focus on safety and quality.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.

• Able to travel and work at project sites in Bangkok, other provinces, and abroad.

• Languages: Fluent in English (spoken & written).

• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) (spoken & written) would be the advantage.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Familiarity with ERP/project management tools is an advantage.
