The Project & Facility Engineer is responsible for delivering capital and continuous improvement projects while ensuring plant facilities and utilities remain safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective. Oversees proper storage and management of materials to support uninterrupted and efficient manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
- You will lead CAPEX and continuous improvement projects from planning and design through installation, commissioning, and handover.
- You will define project scope, timelines, and budgets while proactively managing risks and change control.
- You will operate and maintain plant facilities and utilities, including power, boilers, steam, HVAC, compressed air, water, and wastewater systems.
- You will develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to ensure facility asset reliability and longevity.
- You will ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
- You will monitor and optimize energy and utility consumption to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
- You will manage contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met.
- You will collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Procurement, and Finance teams to support business objectives.
- You will maintain accurate engineering documentation, including drawings, SOPs, and asset records.
- You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, safety, and cost performance.
- You will oversee daily operations of the maintenance/MRO store, including receiving, storage, issuing, and inventory control.
- You will ensure the availability of critical spare parts to support uninterrupted plant and maintenance operations.
- You will manage inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, control obsolete materials, and improve working capital efficiency.
- You will continuously improve inventory management processes, standards, and internal controls.
What We're Looking For
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- You have experience in project, facility, or maintenance engineering.
- You bring hands-on experience in CAPEX project delivery and plant facility/utility systems.
- You possess strong knowledge of industrial safety, environmental, and legal compliance requirements.
- You demonstrate strong planning, cost control, and problem-solving skills.
- You have experience managing vendors and contractors effectively.
- You are able to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
- You are proficient in business-level English; professional certifications are an advantage.
