What you'll do:

Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. Typically manage functional sub-projects with low-medium complexity (functional overall responsibility) or cross-functional projects with low-medium level of complexity. Teams have a low-medium complexity in composition, can be in different places and consist of a mix of competences.

Deal with main project cross functional team members, project sponsor and steering committee members for the project and relevant line managers.

In detail, you will:

  • Plan and ensure execution of project deliverables within agreed-upon timing and budget
  • Compose as schedule and plan for executing the project, including sequencing, identification of dependencies, duration and resource needs, cost estimations, budgeting, and control
  • Conduct regular project team meetings. Regularly present project status reports to Steering Committee, other senior managers, and, when relevant, Program Manager
  • Clearly communicate roles and responsibilities within the project core and extended team
  • Track progress against agreed targets. Implement mitigation plan for at-risk items. Track and manage capital and expenses through close of project.
  • Resolve conflicts with capex, schedules, and resources as needed. Elevates issues to management when necessary.
  • Promote culture of Teamship and professional accountability among core and extended team members
  • Communicate vision, promotes goal alignment, provide coaching and feedback for performance management
  • Adhere to Electrolux Project Management (EPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) process
  • Utilize EPM Gate and PPM software to track and report project progress.
  • Ensure mandatory deliverables are met prior to requesting gate completion. Utilize change management process within EPM

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering
  • 2-4 years experience in relevant experience in new product development with responsible parts/components developments
  • Experience of Project Management Methodologies (PMP is a Plus)
  • Good proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
