From planning, monitoring, to appraising the outcome, the IT project manager leads projects to meet objectives and goal within a timeframe.
Work you will do
- Proactively lead the practice by setting strategy, driving the development of new business in the market, and providing technical and strategic advice across disciplines.
- Build strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalize on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading across a number of different business units and sectors.
- Work closely with C-suite clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, and win buy-in for the team's recommendations.
- Lead and direct diverse teams within the Technology Consulting practice, deciding on target clients and services and ensuring quality delivery for Technology Consulting client projects.
- Design and improve Agile operating models, team structures, roles, and governance responsibilities (RACI) across business product teams (Journey Domains) and platform teams (Infra Platform Tribe), ensuring effective ways of working and clear accountability.
- Coach Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Domain Leads, and other key stakeholders on Agile mindsets, prioritization, decentralized decision-making, servant leadership, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and facilitate tribe-level Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Tribe Retrospectives, and other forums that support alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with business, technology, and governance stakeholders to embed appropriate governance checkpoints into Agile delivery, balancing governance requirements with Agile ways of working.
- Make an important contribution to developing and leading high-impact Technology Consulting project proposals, developing detailed project scope, deliverables, and work plans.
- Measure and monitor project progress using appropriate delivery and Agile performance metrics, including Agile maturity and delivery effectiveness, providing regular status updates to clients and key stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for the management of engagement financials, ensuring effective budget, resource, and commercial management.
- Track Agile maturity and delivery performance across teams, identify opportunities for improvement, and establish and support Communities of Practice (CoP) to strengthen Agile capability and share best practices.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on client feedback, Agile retrospectives, performance metrics, and lessons learned, enhancing project outcomes.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and resource for future technology initiatives, Agile transformations, and broader business and technology changes.
- Actively seek opportunities for innovation and value-addition, introducing innovative solutions, Agile practices, and approaches to elevate project outcomes and deliver greater value to clients.
Let us Talk About You
If you are someone with:
- At least 10 years work experience in a leading international consulting firm, technology consulting environment, or equivalent transformation-focused organization.
- 5-8+ years of experience in Agile Coaching, Agile Transformation, or Agile delivery leadership, including experience supporting enterprise or program level Agile transformations.
- Experience as a Program Director, Program Manager, or equivalent leadership role, with responsibility for managing complex, multi-workstream programs and senior stakeholders.
- Experience designing and implementing Agile operating models, team structures, governance frameworks, and ways of working across business and technology teams.
- Experience coaching Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Domain Leads, and senior business and technology stakeholders on Agile principles, prioritization, decentralized decision-making, and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of Agile frameworks and methodologies.
- PMP certification and/or a recognized project management or Scrum Master certification (e.g., PMI, PSM, CSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Ability to identify and understand clients business issues and to scope and develop projects into commercially viable proposals.
- Creative problem solver; flexible, positive, and analytical, with the ability to operate effectively in complex and rapidly changing environments.
- Strong project management, Agile delivery, presentation, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels throughout the organization.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with C-suite executives, business leaders, technology teams, governance functions, and external consulting partners.
- Strong communication skills in both Thai and English.
