Data Center Project Management Engineer -True IDC
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Project Management Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in planning, executing, and overseeing projects from inception to completion. The Project Management Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Project Execution: Lead project teams in executing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project success.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Budget Control: Monitor project budgets and expenses, making necessary adjustments to ensure projects stay on budget.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and change requests.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project processes and outcomes to identify opportunities for process improvement and lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
- PMP or other project management certification is preferred.
- Proficient in English
- Frequently travel and stay-over at site location will be required
