KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and budgets.
- Track project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and organizational processes.
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, airlines/cargo operations teams, product owners, vendors, and technical teams.
- Facilitate requirement gathering workshops and translate business requirements into actionable project plans.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure timely communication of project updates
- Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams for successful solution delivery.
- Oversee application development, system integrations, testing, deployment, and production rollout activities.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and operational requirements.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies or traditional project management activities based on project needs.
EXPERIENCE and LOCATION/REGION
- 10+ years of experience in IT Industry relevant field and knowledge of Airline and Cargo systems (Experience with CHAMP Cargosystems is an added advantage).
- Bangkok, Thailand (Preferably Thai-speaking local candidates).
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
- Strong in travel domain experience – Airline/Cargo Systems
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong experience in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and distributed teams.
- Expertise in project planning, estimation, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of operational and regulatory requirements within the aviation/cargo industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Airline/Cargo domain.
