Project Manager (Automotive)

Position: Project Manager (Automotive) Industry: Automotive (Tier 1 Supplier)

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the key project management lead for new automotive model development from planning, trial production, and product launch to mass production and minor model changes.
2. Act as the main contact window for key clients, including attending meetings, gathering requirements, reporting project progress, and resolving issues.
3. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to track project progress, evaluate performance, and provide necessary support.
4. Manage and coordinate engineering projects to ensure alignment with customer requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
5. Prepare, calculate, and analyze project costs, pricing, and budgets in accordance with customer and company guidelines.
6. Collaborate closely with customers and internal departments (Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Quality) to ensure technical accuracy and project feasibility.
7. Conduct regular project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
8. Monitor and evaluate product cost structures to ensure alignment with target budgets and profitability goals.
9. Support international coordination and participate in overseas business trips as required.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably with a Tier 1 supplier, serving as a project lead or client interface.
3. Excellent command of English communication, both written and spoken.
4. Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
5. Strong knowledge of cost estimation, product pricing, and customer budgeting processes.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
7. Self-motivated, fast learner, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Flexible with working hours and able to adapt to dynamic project requirements.
