Job Description: Project Manager - Brownfield

Job Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities and Activities (as listed but not limited to the following):
- Execution Strategy and Project Leadership: Define and drive the project's end-to-end execution strategy, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and milestones.
- Brownfield Planning: Develop practical plans to address brownfield constraints.
- Contractor Management: Take charge of EPCI contractor(s) selection and management with an objective to ensure performance, quality, and safety.
- Team Management and Resource Coordination:
- Lead a focused full multiskilled project team, with ad-hoc support from other departments.
- Ensure optimum interface among project stakeholders, including but not limited to project team, main equipment vendors and EPCI contractor(s).
- Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, especially those tied to brownfield constraints and contractor performance.
- Develop a proactive approach to managing unknowns, creating contingency plans to address potential issues with structural integrity, legacy systems, and offshore logistics.
- Act as the focal point for technical problem-solving.
- Budget and Schedule Control: Oversee strict budget controls and schedule tracking, providing regular updates to senior management.
- HSE & Quality: Enforce strict safety and environmental standards, particularly focusing on the unique risks associated with brownfield environments.
- Project Delivery: Oversee preparation and commissioning, ensuring smooth handover to operations.
Competency Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field with advanced project management certifications are a plus.
- Experience: At least 10 years in offshore oil and gas project management, with substantial experience in managing brownfield project complexities.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in spoken and written Thai and English.
- Computer Skills: Fluent computer literacy, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project.
- Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Technical Skills: Strong background in offshore brownfield projects, including handling structural issues, integrating with legacy systems, and managing complex interfaces.
- Contractor Management: Proven ability to select and oversee EPCI contractors with a strong track record in brownfield environments.
- Mindset and Skills: Self-starter with a practical, get-things-done approach. Able to work independently, solve problems, and make decisions confidently in a fast-paced environment.
