We are partnering with a leading construction and engineering firm in Thailand, specializing in industrial facilities, commercial developments, and large-scale infrastructure projects. Driven by rapid business growth, we are looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team, lead site operations, and successfully execute our expanding portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Management: End-to-end responsibility for civil and construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with budget targets.
- Site Operations & Control: Oversee daily construction activities, quality control, site safety standards, cost control, and progress schedules.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, main consultants, design teams, supervisors, and relevant local government authorities.
- Technical Review: Review and approve construction methods, engineering drawings, project schedules, and related technical documentation.
- Team & Subcontractor Leadership: Manage in-house engineering teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to achieve project milestones smoothly.
- Risk & Reporting: Identify operational risks, implement mitigation strategies, and present regular project status reports to executive management.
- Handover & Administration: Oversee contract compliance, client acceptance, project commissioning, and final handover procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven project management experience in civil engineering or commercial/industrial construction.
- Language Skill:Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) for direct daily communication with Chinese executive management and clients.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong command of construction methodologies, site safety standards, quality control, and project management frameworks.
- Regulatory Expertise: Familiarity with Thai construction regulations, building codes, and standard permitting processes.
- Competencies: Strong leadership, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Mobility: Willingness to be based at project sites and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with Chinese construction enterprises or Chinese-invested development projects.
- Holds a valid Professional Engineering (PE) License or equivalent professional certification.
- Direct project experience in industrial factories, commercial complexes, or major infrastructure.
- Proficiency in English and Thai alongside Mandarin.
