Job Title: Project Manager (Mandarin Speaking) Data Center Projects

Our client is a global data center developer and operator delivering large-scale, hyperscale-ready facilities across Asia. As part of their continued expansion in Southeast Asia, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of new data center developments in the region.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of data center construction projects, ensuring successful execution from design through construction, commissioning, and handover. The role requires strong stakeholder management, particularly with Mandarin-speaking end users, and experience delivering large-scale mission critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of data center projects from design coordination through construction, commissioning, and final handover.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders across all project phases.
- Oversee project planning, procurement strategies, risk management, and reporting.
- Ensure projects meet data center design, engineering, and operational requirements.
- Act as the key liaison with Mandarin-speaking end users and stakeholders.
- Monitor construction progress and resolve technical or commercial challenges throughout project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company delivery frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering data center projects with a minimum of 10MW capacity.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering projects within Southeast Asia.
- Strong experience managing projects from design through construction and commissioning.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills are required to support Chinese end users.
- Willingness to relocate to Thailand.
Preferred Background
- Experience working with data center developers, operators, EPC contractors, or project management consultancies.
- Strong knowledge of mission critical infrastructure, MEP systems, and data center project delivery.
- Experience managing hyperscale or large-scale colocation data center projects.
