Job Summary: The PM - Project Manager role at Quantium is a client-facing role responsible for coordinating projects, ensuring effective communication between the Development team, DevOps, Client Solutions team, and clients.
This role involves joining project kick-offs, gathering requirements, proposing UI/UX suggestions, coordinating timelines with Development team leads, and ensuring smooth release coordination with QA and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
- Participate in client project kick-off meetings for development initiatives, gather requirements, and help define project scope and objectives.
- Work closely with the Client Solutions team and clients to ensure project deliverables align with business needs and expectations.
Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to gather and document detailed project requirements.
- Ensure requirements are clearly defined and aligned with business objectives.
- Provide functional insights and occasional UI/UX improvement suggestions based on industry best practices and user feedback.
Development Team Coordination
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables with Development team leads, ensuring tasks are properly assigned and progress is tracked.
- Facilitate collaboration across Development and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Release Coordination & User Acceptance Testing
- Coordinate release schedules with the QA team to ensure thorough testing, quality assurance, and timely deployment.
- Participate in business logic validation and UAT processes to maintain high product quality.
- Collaborate with DevOps to support efficient release processes including version control and release documentation.
Project Planning & Execution
Develop project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies. Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare regular project status reports highlighting progress, milestones, risks, and recommended actions.
- Maintain project documentation including project charters, requirements documentation, project plans, and meeting notes.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager or in a PMO role within IT-related functions.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Fluent English communication skills as client communication is conducted primarily in English.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps practices, and RESTful APIs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and experience in requirements gathering and translating them into actionable plans.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge or interest in Fintech, Private Markets, or Fund Accounting is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
