Project Manager (Fixed-Bid Projects) - 8+ years
Location: Kochi/Bangalore (Hybrid)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with 8–10 years of experience and proven expertise in managing fixed-bid / fixed-price projects. The role involves driving end-to-end project delivery while ensuring strict adherence to scope, budget, and timelines, along with strong stakeholder and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of fixed-bid projects
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria
- Drive budget planning, cost tracking, and profitability management
- Ensure strict scope control and effectively manage change requests
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, business, finance)
- Act as the primary interface for clients and stakeholders
- Monitor project performance and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
- Conduct governance meetings, status reporting, and executive updates
- Manage escalations and ensure timely issue resolution
- Mentor and guide project teams to achieve delivery excellence
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field
- 8–10 years of project management experience, preferably in IT/services
- Strong hands-on experience in fixed-cost / fixed-bid project delivery
- Proven ability to manage project financials, margins, and cost control
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred
