Fairagora Asia (www.fairagora.com) is a Bangkok-based consultancy firm supporting agricultural
operators in either the certification process or their journey towards sustainability improvement. We
collect production, environmental, and social data from farms and processing plants to provide risk
mapping and to assess the priorities for improvement areas. We then conduct workshops and provide
training to the farmers. Our vision is a food production system that honors both the environment and

You will be based in Bangkok and will be responsible for the timely deliverable of Fairagora Asia (FAA)
projects. You will mostly work on Human Rights related projects in the agriculture sector. The work can be related to sustainable standards and certification advisory services (BONSUCRO, GAP, SRP, Organic regulation, etc.) or to FAA's own set of social and environmental metrics.
2 - Major Functions
2.1 Responsible for the implementation of up to two projects
- Supervise up to two of FAA's ongoing projects: take over existing projects or initiate new
projects;
- Provide technical leadership in Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD), social and human rights
assessments, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) services, and Occupational Health and
Safety (OHS) components within the agricultural and/or aquaculture sectors, including but not
limited to sugarcane, cassava, rice, and shrimp farming.
- Manage operational activities related to project implementation, including farmers training and
support, workshop organization, survey design, and budgeting. Serve as a trainer for farmer
workshops when required.
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Undertake research, data collection and monitoring, and analytical assessments to support the
implementation of human rights-related work, both office-based and during supervised
fieldwork.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members and contribute to staff
development and performance management.
- Contribute to the recruitment and supervision of new employees when needed;
- Coordinate multi-level stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment of interests, expectations,
and responsibilities.
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and knowledge management for all activities and
projects
- Support Fairagora team members in their work organization, push for continuous improvement,
maintain a happy and motivating workplace, and ensure strong unity in the team.
- On top of the planning and coordination, work on all the tasks together with the team.
Participate in the field trips and the farmers training;
- Deliver English reports to the client and, when required, to other stakeholders;
- Conduct regular meetings and workshops to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Be in charge of communicating with the client (usually international food brands).
- Lead or actively contribute to the preparation and development of project proposals, concept
notes, call-for-proposal applications, and partnership agreements.
- Manage performance through clear goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), regular reviews,
and coaching for the results and project's objectives.
- Prepare strategic analyses, reports, briefs, and presentations for the management, bodies,
clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Coordinate with the Communication Specialist to support visibility, advocacy, and dissemination
of project results and company's achievements.
2.2 Data Science: Social metrics and algorithms
- Understand the different standards and the need for data analysis to assess the level of
compliance.
- Participate in the selection and adjustment of the metrics chosen to monitor the social
performance of the farms;
- Support the data analyst in the improvements of the data collection tools based on the
algorithms and models requirements.
- Conduct analysis of and provide a related summaries of data and research, in line with work
requirements
3 . Qualifications
- Excellent Thai communication skills (oral and written + knowledge of the culture);
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written);
- University degree in a field related to social sciences or agriculture;
- Strong skills in project planning, financing, team management, implementation, and evaluation;
- Expertise and experience in HRDD are required.
- Field experience in the agricultural sector will be an asset.
- Strong interest in sustainability impact, and social and environmental issues in agriculture;
- Interest in working in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment (Government, NGO's, Donors, Civil Society);
- Ability to work independently, be proactive, work in a team, and stimulate good teamwork;
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and natural leadership abilities;
- Excellent interpersonal skills: assertive communication, strong empathy, ability to adjust one's
behavior and communication in different cultural and educational backgrounds, and the ability to adapt and develop strong relationships at all levels.
4 - Conditions of Employment
- Based in Bangkok (Nana)
- Working schedule: 5 days per week, 8h per day. In the case of fieldwork, these schedules are
- flexible/adjustable.
- Home office flexibility: possibility to work from home 3 days/week
- Local public holidays: Adjusted to the Thai calendar (14 days per year)
- Working Holidays: 15 per year for a full-time position
- Report to Fairagora COO on a weekly basis and Fairagora CEO on a bi-weekly basis
