Project Manager – Airline/Cargo

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

·        Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and budgets.

·        Track project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

·        Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and organizational processes.

·        Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates.

·        Collaborate with business stakeholders, airlines/cargo operations teams, product owners, vendors, and technical teams.

·        Facilitate requirement gathering workshops and translate business requirements into actionable project plans.

·        Manage customer expectations and ensure timely communication of project updates

·        Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams for successful solution delivery.

·        Oversee application development, system integrations, testing, deployment, and production rollout activities.

·        Ensure compliance with security, performance, and operational requirements.

·        Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies or traditional project management activities based on project needs.

EXPERIENCE and LOCATION/REGION

·        10+ years of experience in IT Industry relevant field and knowledge of Airline and Cargo systems (Experience with CHAMP Cargosystems is an added advantage).

·        Bangkok, Thailand (Preferably Thai-speaking local candidates).

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

·        Strong in travel domain experience – Airline/Cargo Systems

·        Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

·        Strong experience in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.

·        Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and distributed teams.

·        Expertise in project planning, estimation, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

·        Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, or equivalent.

·        Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

·        Understanding of operational and regulatory requirements within the aviation/cargo industry.

·        Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS

·        Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

·        Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Airline/Cargo domain.
