Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Management Officer (PMO) to lead the project controls function for our Bangkok Gateway Terminal development.

This is a role partnering directly with the Site Project Director to govern the project's execution.

We are looking for a seasoned professional who can drive the rhythm of the project, challenge construction schedules, enforce governance, and manage complex reporting for regional stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Site Project Manager in maintaining project schedule baselines and updates using Microsoft Project Online. Develop what-if scenarios, schedule forecasts, and review vendor (contractor/consultant) schedules to proactively highlight risks.
  • Develop and maintain key project artifacts, including the Project Charter, Stakeholder Register, Risk and Opportunity Register, Assumptions Log, Change Logs, and Lessons Learned reports.
  • Administer the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system (Sensei IQ), ensuring monthly data updates, project flash reports, and document uploads are completed on time.
  • Lead the implementation and management of the project's SharePoint system, reorganizing filing structures and providing guidance/training to internal team members and consultants on its proper use.
  • Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports, ensuring data accuracy regarding milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical path analysis.
  • Liaise with the local Finance Team to extract data from Oracle for input into the project Earned Value Management (EVM) spreadsheet and process project-related invoices within agreed timelines (target 2 working days).
  • Manage day-to-day project administration, including coordinating site meetings, taking minutes, and performing accurate English-Thai translation of technical documents and correspondence.
  • Coordinate site communications, visitor reception, and hard-copy/digital filing to ensure a smooth flow of information between the Project Team, Consultants, and Contractors.
  • Act as an ambassador for safety and DP World values, promoting positive behaviors and ensuring all project activities adhere to the Code of Conduct and HSSE requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years in Project Management or PMO roles or relevant work experience.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMI-PMP) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and SharePoint is highly beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of project management concepts, scheduling principles, and cost control.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to maintain complex data sets.
  • Business fluency in Thai and English (Written and Spoken) is mandatory, with the ability to manually check and translate technical documents.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced construction/terminal environment.
