Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology projects across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven project management expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. This role requires managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, stakeholder expectations, and delivery quality while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of software development and digital transformation projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure successful delivery through Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, product owners, architects, and engineering teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project status, risks, and escalations.
- Facilitate governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and project status reporting.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.
Technical Leadership
- Work closely with solution architects and technical teams to define implementation strategies.
- Understand application architecture, integrations, cloud platforms, and software development lifecycle.
- Review technical dependencies, solution risks, and delivery challenges.
- Support technical decision-making and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
Risk & Quality Management
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks proactively.
- Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality and security standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and project retrospectives.
Team & Resource Management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, testers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and architects.
- Track resource utilization and project capacity planning.
- Mentor project coordinators, Scrum Masters, and junior project managers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Technical Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience managing projects involving Java, .NET, Cloud, Data, ERP, CRM, or Digital technologies.
- Knowledge of Microservices, APIs, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery models, and release management.
- Understanding of application architecture and enterprise systems.
Project Management Skills
- Strong experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Expertise in project planning, estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, or Rally.
- Strong risk, issue, and dependency management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe certifications preferred.
- Experience managing global delivery teams and offshore-onshore engagements.
- Exposure to BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, or Insurance domains is an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management or program delivery.
- Proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale technology projects.
- Experience working with distributed teams and enterprise clients.
