As part of the Project and Solution team, you are responsible for planning and overseeing projects and services to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget. You will also be responsible for managing projects and involve project execution including tracking, designing, installation, testing, site commissioning and servicing.
The role responsibilities include:
End-to-End Pre-Sales Technical Support
- Technical Discussions: Lead technical meetings with customer relations, respond to customer inquiries and technical concerns.
- Pre-sales support activities: such as site survey, project execution plan, estimated engineering cost and technical support to sales.
- Products and Solution Demos: Lead product and solution demonstrations to showcase technical capabilities and application value to customers.
- Bid Support: Prepare technical proposals, conduct competitive differentiation analysis, and participate in tender Q&A sessions, ensuring technical proposal meeting customer requirements and align with project specifications.
- Work with sales teams to develop technical sales strategies.
- Coordinate with project engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility and mitigate implementation risks.
- Work with product teams to communicate market demands and translate customer needs into product roadmap inputs
Lead Project Engineering
- Involve and lead of project execution, including project design, development, implementation, testing and site commissioning of industrial automation (DCS, ESD, Instrumentation etc.) and Industrial Software (AI, PIM, WMS Robotics etc.) solutions.
- Involve development of project system documentation, support documents and submission including Kick of meeting, project schedule, functional design specification, test procedure (FAT, SAT), progress report materials specification, training, service report etc.
- Lead in the testing during factory (FAT), also Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Commissioning at site.
- Project coordinator and interacting with the project manager, customers and sub-contractors on project schedule, scope of works and coordinating internal resources, partner and third parties/vendors.
- Involve of local products, training and aftermarket support to customer and partner on technical assistance, product support, site service support, maintenance and warranty support for instrumentation, process automation, software and robotics solutions.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Chemicals Engineering
- Minimum 5-8 years experiences in designing/engineering/commissioning/project management in Industrial automation & controls and instrumentation i.e. DCS, PLC, SCADA, cybersecurity, process instrumentation such as flow, pressure, level process measurements.
- Familiar with Advance Software Application i.e., Plant Information (PIM), Asset Performance Management, AI, Data Analytics and Prediction, Robotics, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), APC, MES etc.
- Familiar with the industrial manufacturing processes (i.e. Power plant, Gas & Oil, Petrochem, Chemicals, Foods and beverages etc.) and process instrumentation and measurements.
- Understanding full project lifecycle from end-to-end and project management.
- Having previous experience working on industrial automation projects and cybersecurity in power plants, refinery, petrochemicals, Oil & Gas (offshore) and pulp & paper plants would be a PLUS.
- Possess good project background and technical writing ability and skills.
- Good in IT, IoT, OT, Cybersecurity and information management would be a PLUS.
- Proven track record of success in the industry/ business environment.
- Good in English communication both written and speak proficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and frequent business travel, domestic or international.
