Job Description

Summary/Objective:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to lead and optimize our project management processes. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing multiple projects simultaneously, implementing PMO best practices, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PMO strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee project portfolio management, including prioritization, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Establish and maintain project management methodologies and best practices across the organization.
  • Provide support and guidance to project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Conduct regular project status reviews and report on progress to executive leadership.
  • Manages weekly reporting, including the preparation and presentation of project status updates to multiple stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Foster a culture of project management excellence within the organization.
  • Able to apply knowledge of staffing, budgeting, and financial principles to project management

Qualification:

  • Total 7+ Years of experience along with 5+ years of experience in a PMO role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and processes is required.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the globe
  • A relevant certification such as PMP is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft tools (Office, SharePoint) is preferred
