You'll make a difference by:
- Driving strategic procurement architecture: Defining end-to-end sourcing roadmaps during the early project and bidding phases to ensure cost-competitiveness and supply chain agility.
- Optimizing commercial value and margins: Taking full ownership of project-based procurement to maximize profitability through rigorous cost-analysis, target costing, and value engineering.
- Leading high-stakes supplier negotiations: Executing complex sourcing processes and negotiating optimal commercial terms, delivery schedules, and technical requirements with global partners.
- Managing risk and compliance integrity: Ensuring all procurement activities strictly adhere to contractual obligations, internal governance, and local regulatory frameworks (e.g., BOI, import duties).
- Orchestrating cross-functional synergy: Serving as the central interface between Sales, Project Management, Finance, and Engineering to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Ensuring proactive delivery assurance: Tracking real-time procurement performance, mitigating potential supply chain bottlenecks, and ensuring supplier quality meets mission-critical project standards.
Your defining qualities:
- Project procurement expertise: Bring 5+ years of experience in managing complex procurement cycles within project-driven sectors like industrial automation, power, or infrastructure.
- Deep technical and market literacy: Demonstrate a solid understanding of electrification, automation, or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) business models and supply markets.
- Commercial and financial acumen: Show a proven track record of managing project budgets, driving cost-saving initiatives, and influencing profit margins through strategic sourcing.
- Advanced contract and negotiation mastery: Possess the ability to navigate complex contractual terms, mitigate commercial risks, and build sustainable long-term supplier relationships.
- Systems and tools proficiency: Exhibit hands-on experience with SAP and modern eSourcing platforms to manage RFx processes, cost tracking, and data-driven reporting.
- Academic and professional foundation: Hold a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business, combined with experience in international or global sourcing environments.
