As a Property and Casualty (P&C) Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating, pricing, and negotiating commercial property and casualty risks. Your day-to-day duties will involve analyzing complex risk data, ensuring profitable portfolio growth, and reviewing policy wordings. You will also play a key role in the market by building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and distribution partners to drive both new business and successful renewals.

You will be joining a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and experienced underwriting team. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Lines, you will work in a supportive environment that values continuous learning, mentorship, and open communication. The team is dedicated to sharing market insights and helping each other succeed.
skills and experience required
You should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Property and Casualty underwriting within the commercial insurance sector. Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of current market trends, and excellent negotiation abilities are essential. Exceptional interpersonal skills for broker management are a must, and professional insurance qualifications (such as ACII, CGI, or equivalent) will be highly advantageous.
