Prototyping Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving policy deployment targets.
- Through continuous follow up ensure that policy deployment targets are achieved.
- Responsible for reviewing all Prototype drawings.
- Responsible for creating all Prototype samples.
- Responsible for Line design Headcount, Machine & Equipment requirement for RFQ's
- Responsible for creating Nests for RFQ's.
- Support APS implementation, active participation in APS workshop activity
- Support the APDS process.
- Responsible for process documentation preparation and revision (Flow chart, PFMEA, Control plan, work instruction, line calibration matrix)
- Ensure new launch on time and within budget.
- Responsible for process release and trial build
- Responsible for new jig and fixture implementation
- Support new line set up.
- Maintain and implement methods, systems and routines as necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent (Engineering related)
- Minimum 5 years work experience (Preferably Automotive)
- Mechanical/ Electrical/ Manufacturing background
- AutoCAD
- Excellent English Oral and Written
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing preferable.
- Sewing Experience (Advantageous)
