Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Public Relations Manager to lead and execute traditional PR initiatives that strengthen company's brand image. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in public relations agencies and a native-level command of English, both written and spoken. The successful candidate will be responsible for media relations, press release development, public event coordination, and building key partnerships with external organizations, including ambassadors and public institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute traditional PR strategies to enhance the brand's visibility and reputation in line with corporate objectives.
- Draft compelling press releases, media kits, and executive messages to communicate key updates, store openings, and product launches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, influencers, and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and positive media coverage.
- Plan and manage press conferences, media briefings, and public events, ensuring smooth coordination and impactful delivery.
- Serve as the key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including government agencies, brand ambassadors, and institutional partners, to ensure alignment and seamless collaboration across all public relations initiatives.
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, sustainability, trade, etc.) to align PR activities with business goals and integrated campaigns.
- Monitor media coverage, PR campaign performance, and public sentiment; compile reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Stay updated on PR trends, media platforms, and best practices to ensure relevance and innovation in execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in public relations, preferably from PR agencies.
- Demonstrated expertise in traditional PR including media relations, press writing, and event coordination.
- Native-level English proficiency (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Strong understanding of branding, marketing, and media landscapes, especially within retail or FMCG sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with media monitoring or PR software is a plus.
