Job Purpose
To lead and execute high-impact public relations strategies that deliver strong, consistent, and credible media coverage. This role focuses on leveraging established media relationships, managing press operations across corporate, commercial, and event-based initiatives, and strengthening Plan B's positioning as Thailand's leading out-of-home and engagement media company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute PR and media strategies aligned with business objectives, campaigns, events, and sponsor requirements.
- Create professional PR materials in Thai and English for local and international media, including press releases, media kits, and key messaging.
- Leverage established media relationships to secure consistent coverage, interviews, features, and exclusive stories.
- Act as the primary media liaison, managing press inquiries, interviews, and engagements in a professional and timely manner.
- Plan and manage press operations for events, including press briefings, interviews, and on-site media coordination.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and PR performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Support PR crisis preparedness and response under tight timelines.
- Provide strategic input on PR approaches to support brand positioning and business priorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in PR, Media Relations, Journalism, OOH, Sports, Entertainment, or related industries, with a strong media relations background; event-based PR experience is preferred.
- Strong and well-established media connections across relevant media sectors.
- Native Thai speaker with strong professional English communication and writing skills.
- Excellent media relations, writing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
