Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, price negotiation, and purchase order issuance to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers to achieve the best cost, quality, and service while building strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with planning, engineering, and production teams to support operational requirements.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to support cost reduction initiatives.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and support audit requirements.
- Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Support engineering changes (ECN) and new product introduction (NPI) by coordinating with suppliers on material readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
