Job Title: F&B Purchasing & Cost Control Executive / Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Purchasing & Cost Controller who will own the end-to-end procurement and cost control process for all F&B outlets. The right candidate will simplify manual processes through automation, enforce compliance across outlets, and generate insights that protect profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Manage procurement for all F&B categories (food, beverage, wine).
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to deliver cost savings, favorable terms, and reliable supply.
- Ensure accurate and timely purchase orders (cut-off compliance, substitutions for out-of-stock items).
- Monitor supplier performance, update price lists monthly, and validate invoices against agreed pricing.
- Build strong supplier relationships while keeping focus on cost efficiency and accountability.
Cost Control & Inventory Oversight
- Own the monthly cost control cycle: inventory counts, discrepancy checks, transfers, FOC, spoilage, rebates, and variance analysis.
- Review and validate all inventory data, ensuring accuracy before reporting.
- Investigate high-discrepancy items with outlet managers and enforce corrective action.
- Automate repetitive reporting (discrepancy lists, top-5 cost, cost percentages) to improve efficiency.
- Lead mid-month and random spot checks; escalate unresolved discrepancies.
Process & Systems Development
- Standardize and enforce SOPs for purchasing, receiving, transfers, and inventory.
- Reduce clerical workload through spreadsheets/Google Sheets automation
- Create and maintain linked inventory systems that ensure accuracy across outlets.
- Support menu engineering and recipe costing with updated pricing data and analysis.
- Consolidate reporting for management, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Chefs to align costs with business goals.
- Supervise junior staff or admins handling data entry, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Train outlet teams on inventory accuracy and accountability.
- Present cost reports and insights directly to senior management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in F&B purchasing, cost control, or supply chain management.
- Strong technical ability: advanced spreadsheets/Google Sheets
- Proven record of supplier negotiation and cost-saving initiatives.
- Solid understanding of recipe costing, menu engineering, and variance analysis.
- Confident in enforcing SOPs and challenging non-compliance.
- Fluent in Thai and English.
- Experience in the F&B or hospitality industry
- Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, and proactive problem solver.
