Your Job
- To process all the Purchase Order of material for the manufacturing and non- manufacturing needed by SAP and Coupa.
- To source suppliers/vendors to get the best in terms of quality of product, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), delivery and services.
- To negotiate for the best price and terms for Molex beneficial and continue focusing on purchase price reduction.
- To bring in the supply of the raw materials both Direct and Indirect to meet schedule and in time for the production planning requirements.
- To coach and supervise Buyer to buy materials and get it in on time to meet customer requested date (CRD) or our Molex Promised Date (MPD)
Our Team
You will be reporting to Purchasing Manager.
What You Will Do
- To process the others requirement by following a purchase requisition with a limit of the authorization to suppliers on a timely basis and to verify the requirement on non-inventory items for all departments need and consolidate them in one purchase order to the Local suppliers
- To work closely with Sourcing Engineer on locating the best source in terms of Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), quality, delivery and service including to negotiate for the best price and shipping term both direct and Indirect.
- To coordinate with QPM for price update and source list in SAP ERSA system on a timely basis and work with internal in price increase impacted with users and material manager for approval.
- To issue and process purchase order to the approved supplier accordingly. And monitor the schedule and shipment according to the accepted acknowledge return purchase order information in SAP and Coupa system
- To coordinate with Supplier Quality Engineer for necessary information to inform supplier for the new order or materials problems (MQR, QN)
- To monitor supplier performance and have Vendor Appraisal Results to inform them on a quarterly basis.
- To have a measurable goal in place to measure how the Buyer performs to support users.
- To escalate to supervisor and Material Manager for any potential problem on a timely basis.
- To coordinate with MBSE in process of finance for payment advance, Credit note, manual payment
- To coordinate with HR team for Code of Conduct with suppliers.
- To coordinate with Environmental team and safety to ensure our material is not hazardous.
- To coordinate with shipping Import department for delivery until arrive plant.
- To monitor and coordinate with internal users, QA, NPI, Engineer for First article to complete loop before mass order.
- To coordinate with user, planner in Forecast to manage with suppliers to avoid S&E and short lead time.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or other related
- Minimum 3 years work with purchases with international company experienced with manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Fluency in both Thai & English.
