Job Description

Location: India (Hyderabad).

ShiftTimings:12 PM to 10 PM (IST).

Experience: 2–4 years

Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary + ESOPs

Job Summary

We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer (4+ years experience) to build and execute automation tests, identify bugs, and ensure high-quality applications. The role involves working with developers, using automation tools, and supporting smooth software releases.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tracking tools
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
  • Ensure test coverage, scalability, and performance of applications
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman/Rest Assured
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
  • Improve testing processes and ensure adherence to QA best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing
  • Strong experience in automation tools like Selenium WebDriver / Cypress / Playwright
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java / Python / JavaScript
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills

Nice To Have

  • Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
