Description
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Lead with expertise in Webdriver IO to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and will lead our efforts in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the QA automation team to develop and implement automation testing frameworks using Webdriver IO.
- Design and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand the requirements and create test cases.
- Monitor and report on test execution results, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members in automation practices and tools.
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development life cycle.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on Webdriver IO.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Mocha, Chai, or similar testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
