We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to take ownership of the quality of our products across web, mobile, and backend platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet high standards of quality, usability, and performance before they reach users.
What You'll Drive
- Collaborate closely with product owners and development teams to understand business goals and technical requirements.
- Own and drive product quality strategy across mobile, web, and backend platforms.
- Ensure appropriate levels of testing are integrated throughout the product lifecyclefrom design to deployment.
- Design, develop, review, and execute manual test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing scenarios.
- Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, test data, and bug reports.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts as needed.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and non-functional testing (e.g., performance, security).
- Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs and issues.
- Promote and continuously improve QA processes, test automation, tooling, and testing frameworks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and QA reporting.
- Contribute ideas to improve the user experience and overall product quality.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldor equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in testing consumer-facing applications (web/mobile/API).
- Familiar with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Hands-on experience in at least one test automation tool such as Robot Framework, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive, open-minded attitude and strong sense of ownershipstriving for better, faster, and more effective solutions.
Preferred
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into automation workflows.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git for managing test scripts.
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience with performance testing or security/penetration testing.
