About GoWabi
GoWabi is one of Thailand's leading beauty and wellness platforms, helping customers discover and book spas, salons, clinics, massages, and other wellness services.
We're looking for a QA Engineer to take ownership of product quality across our B2C products, including our website, iOS and Android applications, booking and checkout flows, payments, promotions, and other customer-facing systems.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how a product works end-to-end, finding problems before customers do, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver reliable releases.
What You'll Do
- Own QA for GoWabi's customer-facing web, iOS, and Android applications.
- Test new features, improvements, and bug fixes throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and smoke testing.
- Validate complete customer journeys, including:
- Discovery and search
- Service selection
- Booking and availability
- Checkout
- Promotions and discounts
- Online payments
- Booking management, cancellation, and refunds
- Test across different devices, browsers, screen sizes, and operating systems.
- Review product requirements and identify missing scenarios, edge cases, dependencies, and potential risks before development is completed.
- Create clear test scenarios and maintain regression coverage for critical product flows.
- Investigate production issues and work with developers to reproduce problems and identify root causes.
- Write clear and actionable bug reports with reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, screenshots, videos, logs, and other relevant information.
- Verify backend/API behavior when needed using tools such as Postman and browser Developer Tools.
- Work closely with developers and product teams throughout development, rather than testing only at the end.
- Provide release recommendations based on testing results, product risks, and overall quality.
- Monitor production after releases and quickly validate reported issues.
- Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, and opportunities for automation.
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- 2+ years of experience in Software QA / Software Testing.
- Strong experience testing web applications.
- Experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android.
- Strong understanding of:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Exploratory Testing
- Smoke Testing
- Integration Testing
- Ability to independently analyze requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios.
- Strong attention to detail, edge cases, unexpected user behavior, and potential failure scenarios.
- Ability to reproduce, investigate, and clearly document bugs.
- Experience using browser Developer Tools.
- Basic understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, request/response flows, and client-server architecture.
- Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment with frequent releases and changing priorities.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong ownership mindset — you don't just ask, Did we test everything but also, Does this actually work for our customers
Nice to Have
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, booking platforms, fintech, or payment systems.
- Experience testing payment flows, including cards, QR payments, wallets, refunds, and payment failures.
- Basic SQL knowledge and the ability to verify data directly in a database.
- Experience reading application or server logs.
- Experience with analytics tools such as GA4, Firebase, AppsFlyer, or similar.
- Experience with test automation.
- Experience with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Maestro, or similar.
- Understanding of CI/CD and automated testing pipelines.
- Experience working with Ruby on Rails, Flutter, or native mobile applications is a plus.
What We Expect
We're looking for someone who goes beyond simply following predefined test cases.
A strong QA Engineer at GoWabi should naturally think about questions such as:
- What happens if a customer does something unexpected
- What happens if an API fails, times out, or responds slowly
- What happens if payment succeeds but the next request fails
- What happens when a customer is using an older version of the app
- What happens if a customer goes back, refreshes, retries, or submits twice
- Could this change break an existing booking or checkout flow
- What happens in production with real customer data
You should be comfortable investigating these scenarios independently, identifying risks, and discussing potential issues directly with developers and product teams.
