QA Engineer

Job title: QA Engineer

Location: Bangkok, BTS area

Key responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage

Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications

Perform end-to-end, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across web applications and backend services

Identify, document, and track bugs and issues in a clear and concise manner

Own the quality of features and releases, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features

Build and maintain test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar

Participate in test case and requirement reviews, contributing to quality and process improvements

Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups

Validate data integrity by querying and verifying results directly from relational databases

Requirements

4+ years of experience in software QA with strong exposure to both manual and automated testing

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Hands-on experience with web automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright

Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python) for automation

Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data

Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

Good understanding of REST APIs and experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication skills in English

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Self-driven and proactive, with a strong commitment to product quality

Nice to have:

Experience testing financial or accounting systems

Exposure to performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
