Company overview:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of compound seasonings, sauces, and convenient food products, specializing in Chinese-style hot pot condiments and ready-to-eat meals.

Job descriptions:

  • The QA Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's quality assurance and food safety systems to ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements. The role will lead the implementation and maintenance of food safety programs including BRCGS, PCQI requirements, food defense, and thermal processing controls, ensuring product quality, safety, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
  • Lead and manage internal audits and external audits related to BRC and other food safety certifications.
  • Act as the Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) to ensure compliance with preventive control requirements and food safety plans.
  • Oversee retort processing operations and ensure proper thermal processing validation and monitoring in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Implement and manage Food Defense programs as a Food Defense Qualified Individual (FDQI).
  • Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations and customer requirements.
  • Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Manage and develop the QA team, including training on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and process improvements.
  • Maintain documentation, records, and reports related to food safety, audits, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Minimum 810 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing industry, with at least 35 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of BRCGS food safety standards and experience leading BRC audits.
  • Certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI 2.0).
  • Certification or experience as Retort Supervisor / Thermal Processing is highly preferred.
  • Certified Food Defense Qualified Individual (FDQI).
  • Experience conducting internal audits for BRC or other food safety systems.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).

Working hour:

Monday - Saturday 8.30 a.m. - 17.30 p.m.
