Job Title: QA/QC Civil Engineer
Our client is a full-service engineering company with a strong focus on the Energy, Oil & Gas, and Utilities sectors. The company specializes in the manufacturing of steel pipes, pipe fittings, and pipe coating, and provides comprehensive engineering solutions for large-scale industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, control, and manage the performance of subordinates to ensure work efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
- Plan and manage assigned tasks to ensure completion according to project schedules and requirements.
- Establish guidelines and training plans to enhance the knowledge and competencies of department personnel.
- Review and approve inspection, measurement, and testing results related to construction works and products as performed by QA/QC staff.
- Prepare and control inspection documentation such as Inspection Methods, ITPs, Procedures, and other quality documents as required by clients.
- Identify, analyze, and monitor potential issues that may lead to Non-Conformities (NC).
- Report work progress and quality performance to management.
- Report achievements, issues, obstacles, and process deficiencies within the scope of responsibility.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and knowledge transfer.
- Approve normal and overtime work plans in alignment with workload and project schedules.
- Cooperate in company activities and support corporate policies and initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate subordinate performance in accordance with company and departmental KPIs.
- Participate in 5S activities and the company's quality management system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related fields.
- Proven experience in QA/QC for civil, structural, or piping works; experience in Oil & Gas projects will be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and systems such as ISO, ITP, Method Statements, Inspection & Testing.
- Good leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare, review, and control quality documentation accurately.
- Strong sense of responsibility, leadership mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel or be assigned to upcountry project sites as required.
- Possession of a Professional Engineering License (PE License Thailand) and/or CSWIP 3.1 / CW1 certification will be an advantage.
