- Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to food safety and quality procedures.
- Conduct routine quality checks, sampling, and laboratory testing as required.
- Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and company quality standards.
- Identify product defects, investigate quality issues, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Ensure sanitation and hygiene standards are consistently followed throughout the facility.
- Support internal and external quality audits and regulatory inspections.
- Work closely with production, warehouse, procurement, and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
- Monitor calibration of inspection and testing equipment.
- Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Train production staff on quality and food safety requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in QA/QC within the food and beverage manufacturing industry (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or other food safety management systems.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
