Job Description

Your Tasks

  • Inspect the chemical and physical quality of raw materials and bulk products in the following cases: upon receipt or new production, when issues arise during storage or usage, when there are changes or improvements that may affect quality, and for stability checks both in the laboratory and in-market samples (e.g., returned products).
  • Record reports and related documentation accurately.
  • Maintain, inspect, and calibrate testing instruments under your responsibility to ensure reliable quality inspection results.
  • Prepare Work Instructions (WI), including calibration procedures for responsible instruments.
  • Validate testing methods to ensure they are accurate, appropriate, and reliable.
  • Coordinate with internal and external departments involved with raw materials and bulk products to ensure smooth operations that are timely and GMP-compliant.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues related to raw materials and bulk products or any problems that may affect their quality.
  • Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and conduct quality inspections of raw materials and bulk products before delivery to contract manufacturers.
  • Control stock levels of chemicals, glassware, and other analysis-related equipment.
  • Review and record reports and documents related to product registration.
  • Comply with occupational safety, health regulations, and environmental conservation standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Main Authorities

  • Authorized to pass raw materials and bulk products (for cosmetics and OTC products) that meet the quality standards of Beiersdorf, TGA, RSPO, Halal, and other relevant requirements.
  • Authorized to place materials under quarantine, give conditional approval, or reject raw materials and bulk products that do not meet Beiersdorf's quality standards. However, such actions must be approved by the Quality Control Manager or Head of Quality Management in every case.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection or related work
  • Experience handling large volumes of bulk testing (50+ samples/day)
  • Good command of Thai and English, both written and spoken
  • Basic computer skills
  • A plus: Familiarity with GMP Cosmetic and Phamaceutical
  • A plus: Experience with SAP QM module
