Role Overview
The QC Manager is responsible for all quality control of printed, fabricated, and digital marketing materials, ensuring technical accuracy, brand compliance, and production feasibility. This includes pre-production checks, print QC, vendor inspections, and material testing for POSM, packaging, retail displays, and multi-material builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance across POSM, print, multi-material displays, and retail execution.
- Validate artwork accuracy, dielines, structural builds, sizing, Pantone colours, and print readiness.
- Conduct pre-production testing, sampling, and approvals with vendors.
- Review substrates, fabrication methods, finishing quality, and technical tolerances.
- Provide QC audits at vendor sites and production floors.
- Maintain detailed QC documentation, checklists, and deviation reports.
- Troubleshoot production issues and propose feasible corrective actions.
- Work closely with account teams, production teams, and engineering/design specialists.
- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, compliance, and brand guidelines.
- Manage QC team members and ensure consistent quality standards across all markets.
Experience & Requirements
- 610 years experience in QA/QC roles within printing, POSM, packaging, or fabrication industries.
- Strong technical understanding of substrates, inks, colour matching, tolerances, and finishing.
- Hands-on experience with sampling, prototyping, and vendor QC.
- Knowledge of multi-material production: acrylic, metal, wood, corrugation, offset/digital print.
- Familiarity with CAD, structural layouts, and production artwork is highly advantageous.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
