KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Report to ASPAC QHSE Manager on matters relating to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment for SEA region
- Assist ASPAC QHSE Manager with training and mentoring by identifying and developing the skills and knowledge of the department
- Prepare for customer audits and any additional accreditation audit activities
- Drive improvements to maximize value of data quality
- Establish, implement, and maintain the QHSE management system and ensure that it continues to be compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable related standards
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the QHSE system and reporting on it to ASPAC QHSE Manger for making suggestions to improve the system.
- Plan, execute and closure of scheduled internal audits for all relevant standards
- Advice Branch Managers on QHSE matters for external and customer's audits
- Primary liaison to external parties on matters concerning QHSE related issues.
- Ensure that employees are aware of the importance of meeting customer requirements and how those requirements relate to their work activities.
- Align with Clasquin ASPAC and Global QHSE System and documentation.
- Plan, assist and perform regular quality, health, safety & environmental training to all departments to ensure adherence to the QHSE system on all levels.
- Schedule and perform internal QHSE audits with assistance from team of trained internal auditors within the organization prior to certification and surveillance audit by the certification bodies
- Ensure corrective actions are taken as a result of internal QHSE audits, customer complaint/feedback (CPAR), management reviews and external audits where appropriate
- Conduct Annual Management Review with all Department Heads and Managers to ensure the sustainability and compliance of the company's QHSE Management System
- Assist Department Head to set targets and drive Company's Objectives, Targets and Programs that are approved by Management for its intended results
- Responsible for internal and external communication with regards to the QHSE, including guiding departments to communicate with external parties such as customers and contractors/suppliers in areas of QHSE
- Responsible to ensure that legal register is updated, communicated and reviewed for country's compliance
- Involved in customer enquiry for tender as main PIC on QHSE and security matters
- Support Social & Trade Compliance projects such as SEDEX
- Upkeep and maintain QHSE share folder as administrator
- Conduct Risk Assessment and accident/incident investigation and reporting for covered sites
- Updates and share applicable local legislation / regulations
- Maintain all required legal documents such as fire cert, licenses and fire drill reports
- Attend to local authorities on unannounced visits (e.g. fire brigade)
- Involvement in establishing BCM and dry run trials
Team Management
- Ensure and monitor team compliance to the Clasquin's Code of Conduct and Company's regulations
- Plan and monitor team performance including giving coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected outcomes
- Plan and monitor team development together with HR Division
- Ensure updated Job Description availability for the team by coordinating with HR Division
- Ensure all changes in Department / Section socialized properly to the team
QHSE
- Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency
- Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor degree in Quality / Safety Management or equivalent degree
- Experience in Social Compliance (CSR, Sedex)
- Minimum 7 years of QHSE experience in an MNC environment
- Experience in Security Management System (STP, C-TPAT or TAPA)
- Well versed with QHSE requirements
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with internal & external parties
- Meticulous with strong analytical skills
- Ability to look at broad perspective
- Knowledge in Business Continuity Planning / Management
- Highly adaptable & versatile
- Ability to plan and execute scheduled activities with limited resources
- Knowledge in interpreting local legislations
- Certification in QHSE system and other qualification and experiences related to Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Security
