Role Summary:
This role is responsible for managing and growing key accounts across Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), chicken processors, and selected FMCG customers in Southeast Asia and North Asia. The position requires a commercially agile professional with 35 years of B2B food industry experience, strong exposure to QSR customers, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, complex, and cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of QSR, chicken processor, and FMCG accounts across SEA and North Asia, ensuring strong customer engagement, business continuity, and delivery against commercial targets.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with customer priorities, identifying opportunities for growth through new applications, innovation projects, and value-added solutions.
- Serve as a key commercial interface between customers and internal teams, working closely with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver timely, customer-focused solutions.
- Support innovation and renovation projects by translating customer needs, operational constraints, and market trends into clear commercial briefs and actionable project plans.
- Operate effectively in a highly dynamic environment, managing multiple customer requests and internal priorities simultaneously while maintaining focus on key deliverables and outcomes.
- Monitor customer performance, pricing, and commercial terms, proactively identifying risks and opportunities and escalating issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and business results.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, contributing to regional commercial discussions and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and McCormick's capabilities.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related discipline.
- 35 years of commercial or key account experience in the food, ingredient, or FMCG B2B industry.
- Mandatory experience working with QSR customers (directly or through processors).
- Experience working with chicken processors or protein supply chains is a strong advantage.
- Experience managing regional or multi-country accounts is preferred.
- Strong commercial and customer-management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with QSR and food industry customers.
