Job Description

Job Summary:

Test Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability. Works closely with development teams to identify defects, improve test coverage, and enhance automation frameworks while supporting overall testing activities throughout the development lifecycle.

Job description:

  • Create test strategy and related documentation when required
  • Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and other project artifacts to develop extensive test scripts which include all exception possibilities. Test are designed with a focus on reuse and maintainability
  • Prepare test data and assist with the scheduling of testing during projects
  • Drive continuous improvement of test processes
  • Identify and enhance testing tools to streamline testing process (example: Test tracking, test case templates, Defect management)
  • Ensure that the test execution is done according to the timeline set including planning for contingency in case of errors
  • Plan and perform Unit Test / UAT and rerun if the results do not meet acceptance level

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or Master degree in Information Technology or other related fields
  • At least 3 years experience in Mobile Internet Application testing, developer or related function
  • Knowledge of banking products and Banking Industry and Finance
  • Experience in mobile application testing on iOS/Android Understanding of business process management of banking operation business and risk management of solution design
  • Agile & DevOps, Automated Tools
  • Self-motivating and high responsibility
