Job Title: QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, BDD Cucumber Framework, API Testing, and Agile methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases and automation scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and smoke testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Participate in requirement reviews and sprint ceremonies.

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD Cucumber.
• Create reusable automation scripts for web applications.
• Design feature files and step definitions using the Cucumber framework.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute automated regression suites and analyze test results.
• Maintain automation code using design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM).

API Testing

• Perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Validate request and response payloads.
• Test REST APIs and verify status codes, response schemas, and business logic.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
• Provide test status reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills

Mandatory Skills

• 3 to 6 years of QA experience.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing.
• solid understanding of Core Java and OOP
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with BDD Cucumber Framework.
• Knowledge of TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience in API Testing using Postman and REST Assured.
• Basic knowledge of SQL with experience writing queries for data validation, retrieval, filtering, and test data verification.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of Git version control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Automation Framework Skills

The candidate should have hands-on experience in:
