Location: Bank of Ayudhaya (Krungsri) - Rama 3 Head Office (Hybrid work)
Role Purpose
Lead the Quality Assurance team to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance of critical banking applications, including Core Banking, Digital Channels (Mobile & Internet Banking), and Payment Systems. The role focuses on API testing, automated testing frameworks, and regulatory compliance to deliver secure and seamless banking experiences to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Automation
- Lead API and automated testing initiatives to increase test coverage and reduce release risk.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for regression, performance, and security testing.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipeline for continuous delivery of digital banking solutions.
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage and mentor a team of 13 QA engineers.
- Provide technical guidance in automation, API testing, and banking domain knowledge.
- Conduct performance management, resource planning, and career development for the team.
Quality & Compliance
- Define QA strategy aligned with banking regulatory standards (BOT, PCI-DSS, ISO27001).
- Ensure all QA processes meet audit, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Implement quality checkpoints for sensitive systems: payment gateway, fund transfer, loan origination, KYC, fraud detection.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to align on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Work with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to validate adherence to regulatory and security standards.
- Provide management with quality metrics, risk assessments, and improvement plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in QA, with 3+ years in leadership/manager role.
- Strong expertise in API testing and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with Core Banking Systems, Digital Banking Applications, Payment & Transaction Systems.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (BOT, PCI-DSS, ISO27001, GDPR).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
- Exposure to performance testing & security testing for banking-grade applications.
- Cloud banking platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in financial system testing.
- Leadership with ability to coach and grow high-performing QA teams.
- Risk awareness and compliance-oriented mindset.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
