Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior QA Manager with 10+ years of experience to lead end-to-end quality assurance operations. The candidate must be proficient in both Manual and Automation testing, with preferred background in Telecom and AI domains.
Qualifications & Skills
Core QA Competencies
- 10+ years in QA, with at least 3–5 years in a lead/manager role
- Expert knowledge in test plans, test strategies, and test coverage matrices
- Strong understanding of Testing Life Cycle (APT, SIT, E2E, UAT)
- Experience measuring software quality against predefined criteria and reporting defect metrics
Testing Methodology & Tools
- Experienced in Functional, Integration, Regression, and E2E Testing
- Proficient in automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, or equivalent
- API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI
- Test management tools: TQC, JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodology
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Domain Knowledge (Preferred)
- Telecom: BSS/OSS platforms, provisioning, billing, network transformation projects
- AI/ML: Model validation, data quality assurance, testing AI-powered systems
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Own testing strategy, planning, and sign-offs across the full testing life cycle
- Drive test phase transitions (APT, SIT, E2E, UAT) ensuring entry/exit criteria are met
- Monitor and update test plans, schedules, and risk assessments
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers and testers
- Coordinate Technology and Business teams across all testing phases
- Conduct test meetings: status updates, action items, open issues, and prioritization
Execution & Reporting
- Ensure standardized use of test tools (e.g., TQC) and documentation practices
- Monitor defect tracking, resolution, and report status to PM/BA/SA/Stakeholders
- Manage test data preparation and environment readiness across teams
