Job Overview

The Senior Quality & Reliability Engineer is responsible for driving quality excellence across incoming materials, inprocess activities, customer complaint handling, and continuous improvement. The role leads scrapreduction initiatives, develops quality engineering documents, ensures quality system alignment with global standards, and supports audits and crossfunctional teams to achieve robust product performance and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Compiling and documenting statistical data from the testing processes to confirm compliance with the organization's established standards and identify improvements.
  • Assisting with the evaluation of the quality of raw materials and finished goods and supporting with various quality control assays.
  • Working with various teams to facilitate internal and external quality issue resolution.
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to understand inspection techniques, support internal and external audits, and attend training sessions on quality concepts and tools.

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • Education & Experience
    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
    • Minimum 3 years of quality-related experience in the electronics industry.
    • At least 1 year of SMT experience preferred.
    • Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred; strong DOE, GR&R and data analysis skills.
Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of cable assembly processes: terminal/IDC crimping, soldering, electrical testing, signal integrity.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC620, IPC610).
  • Experience handling customer complaints, corrective actions, and risk assessment.
  • Ability to lead process improvement using DMAIC methodology.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication, accountability, and problemsolving mindset.
  • Ability to influence crossfunctional teams.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Good English (reading, writing, speaking).
