Job Function: QA & QC Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Conduct lab testing of feedstocks, intermediates, and product batches: purity, density, moisture, GC/MS, etc.
- Coordinate process sampling and real-time testing during production to uphold product specifications.
- Maintain lab equipment calibration and QA/QC documentation per ISO/SCGC standards.
- Investigate abnormal quality events, lead root-cause analyses, and implement CAPAs.
- Produce QC/microbiological/environmental reports analyze trends and present to operations teams.
- Conduct QC training for operators and technicians.
- Participate in audit preparation (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TIS 18001, ISO/IEC 17025) and supplier assessments.
- Ensure environmental and safety compliance monitor wastewater and emissions quality.
Qualifications:
- B.Eng./B.Sc. in Chemical, Polymer, Materials, or related field.
- 1 year of QC/lab experience in petrochemical or chemical manufacturing.
- Proficient in lab instrumentation (GC, HPLC, titration, moisture analyzers).
- Familiar with ISO-based quality systems lab accreditation desired.
- Fluent in English (TOEIC 550).
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Competent in MS Office and lab data systems.
