Quality Control Manager
Job description
1. Lead, establish, and oversee the inspection and quality control systems for finished goods (FG), raw materials, cartons, and all packaging materials to ensure full compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards.
2. Develop, implement, and manage risk assessment and risk analysis systems for finished goods, chemicals, raw materials, and packaging materials to identify, evaluate, and mitigate quality and compliance risks.
3. Plan, conduct, and manage supplier audit programs both before and after production, including supplier qualification, performance evaluation, and random product inspections to ensure continuous supplier compliance.
4. Manage and control product sampling and random inspection activities throughout the supply chain, ensuring effectiveness, consistency, and compliance with quality standards.
5. Establish, review, and approve quality management documentation, including SOPs, quality standards, inspection procedures, and pre-production and post-production documentation in alignment with GMP, ISO, and internal quality systems.
6. Oversee product quality evaluation through stability and compatibility studies, ensuring product safety, quality consistency, and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
7. Lead, coach, and develop the QA team, ensuring competency, performance improvement, and adherence to quality culture within the organisation.
8. Act as a key representative for quality matters, supporting internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and cross-functional collaboration with NPD, Procurement and supply chain teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant science field
Minimum 7 years experience in a regulated GMP manufacturing environment.
Good understanding and knowledge of GMP/ Quality System and it's application
Proficient knowledge of GHPs, HACCP, GMP Cosmetics, ISO 22716
Knowledgeable in ISO standards and annual factory audit requirements
Strong writing skills in Technical / SOP writing
Software Applications - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Enterprise One, Access, SharePoint
Proficiency in both Thai & English is highly desirable
Excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills
Strong strategic thinking and executional skills, capable of building for simplicity, scale and repeatability
A team player with strong skills in the areas of influencing, motivation, relationship building, and communication.
