Job Description
The Process Quality Engineer ensures that stamping, plating and final inspection processes meet quality standards and comply with Solstice and customer specific requirements. This role focuses on process optimization, defect prevention, and continuous improvement to deliver high-reliability electronic components and assemblies.
Key responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain process control plans for stamping, plating and final inspection processes.
- Monitor production lines for compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3 and customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process-related defects; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with Tooling Engineering, Process Engineering and Production teams to optimize processes for yield improvement and cost reduction.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by validating production processes and ensuring quality requirements are met.
- Perform internal audits and build in quality audit to ensure adherence to ISO 9001, HSE, and industry-specific standards.
- Utilize statistical tools (SPC, DOE, Six Sigma) to monitor and improve process performance.
- Maintain documentation for quality processes, including work instructions, inspection criteria, and compliance reports.
